Because bacteria and viruses are present in our homes, at our workplaces, anywhere and everywhere we go, it’s often perceived as a trillion mileages to maintaining a ‘germ-free’ environment. World of Laminates, an inspiration of journey into imagination by Evershine, undergo antimicrobial technology or combination of technologies that will provide optimal antimicrobial performance for the surfaces. It inhibits the growth of microbes, such as bacteria, mold and mildew which make laminates more hygienic.*Available on selected items.
During the impregnation process of HPL, special grade of fire retardant additive is blended into the resin to meet a Class 1 requirement for Surface Spread of Flame Test. Such Fire Retardant Laminates are absolutely necessary for workplaces such as ships’ and refineries etc where fire hazard is of prime concern.*Available on indent basis.
Slight stain such as dusts can be easily removed with a dry or damp cloth.
Normal stain such as dirt, soil, oil, rust, coffee, tea and wax can be removed with a cloth dipped in water and mild detergent.
If stain persists, may require the use of undiluted household bleach or nail polish remover to apply onto the affected area. This should stand no longer than 3minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. This step may be repeated if stain appears to be persistent.
Scratching
Scraping with sharp edges should be avoided. And objects with rough or uneven bases can cause scratches if allowed to slide across the surface. Food should not be chopped on a working surface. Instead, use a chopping board to prevent permanent damage.
Heat
Although Evershine’s laminates are tested to its industry standard temperature, care should be taken by avoiding prolonged exposure to high temperature. Objects such as oven hot pans and dishes should not be taken from direct heat and placed on the laminate. Burning cigarettes should never be left on the surface. This information will assist in ensuring that surfaces faced with Evershine’s high pressure laminate will give good service for many years.
Transport and storage
When handing, make sure that the decorative surface must be facing up. Lift the sheets either by hand or with the aid of suction pads. During all handing, ensure that the sheets do not rub against one another. Also, refrain from contact with water or other liquids
